Red Wigglers per Kg

Red wigglers or Eisenia fetida are one of the common type of worm which are found in different environments, including gardens and compost piles. They are used for vermicomposting of both industrial and domestic organic waste. They are capable of converting different materials into compost (nutrient-rich soil) that plants can use for food. Red wigglers’ digestive system allows them to eat waste food material, dead leaves and other decomposing matter on the ground and in the soil. They can eat up to half their body weight in food scraps each day and grow on a diet of bread, vegetable, fruit, and paper scraps. In this way, they are very useful of recycling green waste or food waste.
